Ferrari FF

The Ferrari FF is supposed to be the coolest car in the world! My friends agree and hopefully you do too!!!

I also checked on the net!!

This car rocks! It can travel on ice comfortably as any normal car (eg. Mercedes Benz, BMW Mini Cooper) would keep having bumps and the ride becomes very uncomfortable

It travel at the speed of 0-60 mph: 3.7 seconds. 660 hp. And costs $700,000. Trust me it is worth it.

Anyway this car is way better than the Bugatti Veyron! Just because it is the fastest car doesnt make it the coolest car!!

The Ferrari FF (FF meaning “Ferrari Four”, for four seats and four-wheel drive) is a grand tourer presented by Ferrari on March 1, 2011 at the Geneva Motor Show. It is Ferrari’s first production four-wheel drive model. The body style has been described as a shooting-brake,a type of sporting station wagon/estate car with two doors. It replaced the 612 Scaglietti grand tourer. The FF has a top speed of 335 km/h (208 mph) and it accelerates from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.7 seconds. Ferrari states that the FF is the world’s fastest four-seat automobile. The FF sells for $300,000 USD, with 800 being produced during the first year.

Lamborghin Jalpa

The Lamborghini Jalpa is the predecessor of the Lamborghini Gallardo. Any  Lamborghini Gallardo looks really cool but the Lamborghini Jalpa doesnt look really cool in my opinion.

When the Mimram brothers took over the company in July 1980, establishing the “Nuova Automobili Ferruccio Lamborghini”, the new owners did not only start production of the LM 002 off-road, but the evolution of the Silhouette as well, whose main points were: restyling theBertone designed body, an 8-cylinder engine, expanded to 3.5 liters, with power still at 250 HP, but with far superior driving comfort. With 420 cars built, Jalpa is among the best-sellers – since production stopped in 1988 there were no other 8-cylinders from Lamborghini.

Jalpa – or Baby-Lambo as it was known at the time – made its world debut at the 1981 Geneva Auto Show as a prototype version featuring a rear spoiler that never got into production. The sports car was named after famous breed of fighting bulls. Even if it was a very easy car to drive, it never got the attention it deserve; however it was the best sold Lamborghini V8 model.

A successor for the Silhouette sports car, the Jalpa used the same 3.0-Liter V8 engine (that was also used in the Urraco P300), but enlarged to a 75mm stroke resulting in a 3485 cc displacement. The engine delivered 255 bhp at 7000 rpm and 231 ft-lb torque at 3500 rpm. The sports car made the 0 to 60 mph sprint in 7,3 seconds and was capable of a top speed of 146 mph.

Jalpa was offered in seven exterior colors: white, silver, black, metallic blue, red, gun metal and metallic gold, while on the interior the dashboard featured a new kind of box-shaped instrumentation, new seats and fully adjustable backrests.

It saw a small facelift in 1984, when, at the Geneva Motor Show, Lamborghini presented the car with the black plastic body parts finished in the body color and circular tail lights as on a Ferrari.

Jalpa was discontinued in 1987 when Lamborghini was under Chrysler ownership. Jack Stavana fitted a Jalpa V8 into a Dodge Daytona, linked to an AWD system designed by Carroll Shelby and called it the “Decepzione”. The car never saw production.

In 1989 Lamborghini unveiled the P140 concept – considered a successor for the Jalpa. It was powered by an all-new V-10 QuattroValvole engine with an electronic fuel-injection system. The concept was designed by Carrozzeria Bertone, Chrysler Design Center and Marcello Gandini.

(There are different generations of the Gallardo)

Lamborghini Gallardo

I am obsessed with Lamborghinis so … I love posting about them. Here is another article on a Lamborghini ( Gallardo)

The Lamborghini Gallardo (play /ɡˈjɑrd/Italian: [ɡaʎˈʎardo]) is a sports car built by Lamborghini and its most-produced model to date, with over 10,000 built in its first seven years of production.[4] Named after a famous breed of fighting bull, the V-10 Gallardo has been Lamborghini’s sales leader and stable-mate to a succession of V-12 flagship models—first to the Lamborghini Murciélago (4,099 built between 2001 and 2011), then to the current flagship Lamborghini Aventador.

First Generation

[edit]Gallardo

Lamborghini Gallardo

The first generation Gallardo came with a 5 liter 90 degree V10 (4961cc), based on Audi’s 4.2 Liter V8 devoloped by Cosworth. The Gallardo offers two choices of transmissions, a conventional (H-Box) six-speed manual transmission, and an advanced six-speed electro-hydraulically controlled semi-automatic robotized manual, which Lamborghini abbreviates to “E-gear”. The “E-gear” allows the driver to make shifts much faster than they could with a manual transmission. The driver shifts up and down via paddles behind the steering wheel, but can also change to an automatic mode.[5]

For the MY2006 (launched in late 2005) Lamborghini introduced many changes to the car to counter some criticisms garnered from the press and owners. These were based on the limited edition Gallardo SE. The exhaust system was changed to a more sporty one (including a flap to make it quieter around town), the suspension was revised, a new steering rack was fitted, the engine power was increased by 20 bhp to a maximum of 520 metric horsepower (382 kW; 513 hp), and the biggest change was an overall lowering of the gearing, especially in 1st to 5th. The result was a much improved car; it handled and turned better, sounded better under full throttle and the extra power and lower gearing made an already fast car into a much faster one.

[edit]Spyder

The production spyder model of the Gallardo was unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show in January 2006. It is considered by the company to be an entirely new model, with 520 PS (382 kW; 513 hp) and a lower-ratio six-speed manual transmission. The soft top is fully retractable.

[edit]Gallardo Superleggera

Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera

During the 2007 Geneva Auto Show[6] Lamborghini debuted the Gallardo Superleggera, the name paid tribute to the construction style of the first lamborghini production model, the 350GT, designed and built by Carrozzeria Touring[7] and its emphasis on weight reduction. The Superleggera is lighter than the base Gallardo by 100 kg (220 lb) via the use of carbon fibre panels for the rear diffuser, undertray, the rearview-mirror housings, the interior door panels, the central tunnel, engine cover; titanium wheel nuts and carbon fibre sports seats. The engine power is upgraded by 10 PS (7 kW; 10 hp) thanks to an improved intake, exhaust and ECU for a total of 530 PS (390 kW; 523 hp). The 6-speed E-Gear transmission was standard on US spec models with the 6-speed manual transmission offered as a no cost option.

In March 2008, Lamborghini announced that they had ceased production of the Gallardo Superleggera.[8] During its production life, 172 were produced, with 10 in white, 34 in grey, 37 in black, 45 in yellow, 46 in orange and 1 was custom painted in pink.[9]

[edit]Second Generation

[edit]LP 560-4

Presented at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show, the Gallardo LP 560-4 is a significant refresh of the Gallardo, powered by a new 5.2 L (320 cu in) V10 engine that produces 560 PS (412 kW; 552 hp) at 8,000 rpm and 540 N·m (398 lb·ft) at 6,500 rpm of torque. Featuring “Iniezione Diretta Stratificata” direct fuel injection system to improve efficiency; fuel consumption and CO2 emissions have been reduced by 18% despite the increase in performance. It also has a new design inspired by the Murciélago LP 640 and Reventon.

The new engine, 40 PS (29 kW; 39 hp) more powerful than in the previous car, comes with two transmission choices: 6-speed manual or 6-speed E-gear, the later of which was revised to offer a Corsa mode which makes 40% quicker shifts than before and decreases traction control restrictions, a Thrust Mode launch control system was also added. Accompanied with a 20 kg (44 lb) weight reduction all the improvements add up to a claimed performance of 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.7 seconds, 0-200 km/h (120 mph) of 11.8 and a top speed of 325 km/h (202 mph).[10]

The MSRP base price is $198,000 in the US[11] and £147,330 (including NavTrak vehicle tracking system and delivery package) in the UK.[12] The first US car was sold in 16th Annual Race to Erase MS charity auction for $270,000 to former True Religion Jeans co-founder/co-creator Kymberly Gold and music producer Victor Newman.[13]

[edit]LP 560-4 Spyder

Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 Spyder

The Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 Spyder was unveiled at 2008 LA Auto Show.[14] as the replacement for of the previous Gallardo Spyder. It is the convertible model of the Gallardo LP 560-4 and as such possess all of its improvements like the new 5.2 L (320 cu in) V10 engine, improved E-gear transmission and 20 kg (44 lb) weight reduction. Performance has been improved to 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.0 seconds, 0-200 km/h (120 mph) of 13.1 and a top speed of 324 km/h (201 mph)

[edit]2013 LP 560-4 Coupe and Spyder

At the 2012 Paris Motor Show, Lamborghini debuted a restyled version of the LP 560-4 to commemorate the final 2013 model year. It featured revised front and rear fascias and new 19-inch “Apollo polished” alloy wheels. [15]

[edit]LP 570-4 Superleggera

LP 570-4 Superleggera.

In March 2010, Lamborghini announced the release of the Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera, a lightweight and more powerful version of the Gallardo LP 560-4 in the same vein as the previous Superleggera. With carbon fiber used extensively inside and out to reduce weight to just 1,340 kg (2,954 lb) making it the lightest road-going Lamborghini in the range. The 5.2L V10 on the LP 570-4 gets a power bump over the standard Gallardo to 570 PS (419 kW; 562 hp) at 8,000 rpm. Performance has been improved to 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds, and a 325 km/h (202 mph) top speed.[16][17][18]

[edit]LP 570-4 Spyder Performante

In November 2010, Lamborghini announced the LP 570-4 Spyder Performante, a convertible version of the LP 570-4 Superleggera. Employing the same 570 PS (419 kW; 562 hp) 5. 2 L V 10 and with a curb weight of 1,485 kg (3,274 lb), heavier than the coupe as usual with coupe based convertibles, the LP 570-4 Spyder Performante goes from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds, to 200 km/h (124 mph) in 12.0 seconds and has a top speed of 324 km/h (201 mph).[19]

[edit]LP 550-2 Coupe and Spyder

Following the LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni and LP 550-2 Bicolore special editions, the LP 550-2 Coupe was offered by Lamborghini in the 2011 model year as the lowest priced model in the Gallardo line-up. The rear-wheel drive LP 550-2 Coupe was distinguished by unique black side skirts and “LP 550-2” badging, suspension tuning borrowed from the Valentino Balboni edition and came equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission with E-gear available as a cost option. In 2012, the LP 550-2 Spyder was introduced with the same specifications as the Coupe, as the lowest priced Spyder model.

The Fastest Cars IN

World’s Fastest Cars:

1. Bugatti Veyron Super Sport267 mph (429 km/h), 0-60 in 2.4 secs. Aluminum, Narrow Angle 8 Liter W16 Engine with 1200 hp, base price is $2,400,000. Although the Bugatti Veyron lost the title to SSC Ultimate Aero on March 2007, Bugatti challenge the record in Germany on July 10, 2010 with the new 2010 Super Sport Version and the Veyron once again claims the title of the fastest car in the world at 267 mph. The original Bugatti Veyron has a top speed of 253 mph, priced at $1,700,000 and equipped with 1001 hp.

#2 is a tie at 260 mph!

2. Hennessey Venom GT260 mph (418 km/h), 0-60 in 2.5 seconds, has a 6.2-liter LS9 Turbocharged V8 Twin Turbo V8 Engine producing 1200 hp, has a price tag of $950,000. The Venom GT has yet to be tested and proven, but could possibly hit a top speed of 275 mph. This might just be the Veyron Super Sport’s closest competitor!

2. Koenigsegg Agera R260 mph (418 km/h), 0-60 in 2.9 secs. 5.0-liter V8 Engine with twin turbo’s, housing 1099 hp. Base price is $1,600,000. If you’re into snow sports, the Agera R can be fitted with a Ski Box as well as winter tires, not that I would take one on a ski trip or anything like that. While the Agera R has a massive theoretical top speed, the current tested top speed is 260 mph. Expect this snow car to be the Bugatti’s arch enemy for the next 5 years.

Also a tie for #3.

3. SSC Ultimate Aero257 mph (413 km/h), 0-60 in 2.7 secs. Twin-Turbo V8 Engine with 1183 hp, base price is $654,400. Tested in March 2007 by Guinness World Records, The SSC Ultimate Aero was the fastest car in the world from March 2007 to July 2010. On March 2011, the Koenigsegg Agera R also surpassed it, forcing this American made car to the #3 spot. Shelby SuperCars will continue their quest to reclaim the fastest car title, and their new SSC Tuatura might do the job (we’ll just have to wait).

8. Noble M600225 mph (362 km/h), 0-60 in 3.7 secs. Twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 Engine with 650 hp. Base price is $330,000. The Noble M600 also happens to be a very cool car. Its inconspicuous design sports a slender and contoured body which does not scream out for attention at every second of the day.

There is a 3-way tie for #9!

9. Aston Martin One-77220 mph (354 km/h), 0-60 in 3.4 secs. 7.3 litre V12 Engine with 750 hp. Base price: $1,850,000. The production of this is limited to 77, hence the name One-77. This is beauty and power packed into One.

We have another 3-way a tie for 10th place:

10. Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster217 mph (349 km/h), 0-60 in 3.4 secs. Twin turbocharged AMG V12 engine that produces 678 hp. Base price is $1,850,000. The Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster is a limited-edition, with five ever produced. It is the quintessential exotic and exclusive supercar.

10. Ferrari Enzo217 mph (349 km/h), 0-60 in 3.4 secs. F140 Aluminum V12 Engine with 660 hp, base price is $670,000. Only 399 were ever produced; the price goes up every time someone crashes.Ferrari Enzo doors open front view
